Code Ghar Blog

The Code Ghar blog has been active since late 2007. It deals with discussions, configuration, scripts, and code; all related to technology. Mostly it deals with Linux but there's Windows and various other technologies peppered in there. It's growing in popularity every day as more and more people find answers to their tech questions.

Wikiply

Wikiply is a Django-based Wiki engine. The project started in 2011 and aims to provide a simple Wiki with powerful access control features.

Neveleo

Neveleo is an attempt to work with friends on various educational and research projects.

Gridane

Gridane is an attempt to work with friends on various database related educational projects.

What is Code Ghar?

Code represents programming code, scripts, discussions, and configurations. Ghar means house or home. So Code Ghar is the House of Code.

Licensing Philosophy

Code Ghar officially prefers the 2-clause BSD license (or FreeBSD license, in other words) when releasing self-authored code. A blog post (GPL or BSD License: Confusion Galore) was made to explore the license and has solidified this official position. Any open source (BSD, MIT, etc.) or free (GPL, AGPL, etc.) license is welcome otherwise.

Code Ghar Wiki

To complement the blog, a Wiki was started in 2011. It's not visible to the public until it has been fleshed out with useful content.
